Recycle, Reuse. Your coffee will arrive in a reusable aluminum can equipped with a high-tech barrier and a resealable plastic lid. Our packaging guarantees a "just roasted" flavor for 6 months, and it enables reuse & recycle.

Did you know...aluminum is the most abundant metal on earth? A used aluminum can is recycled and back in use in as little as 60 days! Making new aluminum cans from used cans takes 95% less energy and 20 recycled cans can be made with the energy needed to produce one can using virgin ore. Recycling one aluminum can saves enough energy to keep a 100-watt bulb burning for almost four hours. Visit www.earth911.org and learn!

     Artisan Roast Master Blends:

  • Mané's Blend
Named after our owner,  this is our signature blend. We've never tasted anything so flavorful.  This is a coffee with intense, long lasting coffee notes. A roasted blend of Central American, South American and African coffees.  This is a rich coffee that lingers on your pallet beckoning a second cup.

  • Artisan Breakfast Blend
Created for your first cup of the morning yet delicious all day through. We added Colombian for its rich flavor and body and included Guatemalan for balance and fragrance. A nice mellow cup of Jo'.

  • Artisan Dark Roast
Vermont Artisan's darkest roast.  We start with a superlative coffee and roast it using a European recipe known to the old Roast-Masters.  This coffee is dark roasted but never bitter. While the roast is dark, we stop just in time to allow all the original flavor characteristics to come through. Rich and velvety.

  • Artisan Espresso Blend; Organic Fair Trade
Espresso is a process not a roast level. We have crafted the sweetest, most flavorful espresso in the purest European tradition. Our espresso is an exceptional blend that will awaken your palate in pure pleasure. We love this one brewed from our drip machine too.

  • Nomad Blend
This is Brent's award winning blend!  Challenged with the task of creating a unique blend for the Specialty Coffee Association's "National Roaster's Competition", Brent decided to use only East African coffees for a rich blend, full of body and fruity/winey flavor.

  • Moka Java, Organic Fair Trade.
Born out of a 17th century blunder,a clipper ship transporting coffees from the Yemen port of Mocha and the Indonesian island of Java, inadvertently mixed them. Thus, the first ever reported blend, Moka Java was born!  Not a chocolate flavored coffee...Earthy, sweet and wild.

  • Nomad Blend
A blend of East African coffees (Ethiopia/Rwanda/Kenya). This is an extremely difficult blend to achieve as we are mixing similar coffees. Usually these excellent coffees are sold straight on their own but we decided to blend to see what was possible. We started with the best of Yirgacheffes, but not a classic one. The Yirgacheffe we picked goes through a special process and is a natural coffee. The Rwanda was from a cooperative that began three years ago and has consistently produced the best coffee and the Kenya has come a Kiriani cooperative. You'll find this a rich blend, full of body with a fruity/winey flavor.

  • Sumatra 50/50 ~ 100% Sumatra, 50% Caffeine. We know you've done it  - grabbed whatever old decaf you have and blended it with your regular coffee so you could cut the caffeine only to find you've also cut all the character out of the brew.  Well, this is for you! A roastery blend of just Sumatran beans - it’s loaded with flavor and full of body with just half the caffeine.  Less is more!

We purchase at the height of harvest which means, depending on the growing season, a specific coffee may not be available. If what you are looking for is not currently available,  don’t  be discouraged, it’s just one added reassurance that our coffee is as fresh as it can be.
